The New Zachman Framework 3.0 is here!

With more focus on the enterprise ontology, the new Zachman Framework is here and available!

John announced the new version to a packed house at the Experis sponsored event in Sacramento on August 23, 2011. Some of the new features include: updated graphics, more precise words from the meta-model (specifically in columns 2, 3, 4 and 5), cell integration lines, cell transformation notation, model definition, perspective refinement and more! (booklet detailing the changes coming soon!)

New Zachman Framework™ Announcement in Sacramento

Sacramento CA – July 5, 2011 – On Tuesday, August 23, 2011, John Zachman will be announcing a new release of the Zachman Framework™, an industry mainstay in the field of Enterprise Architecture. Mr. Zachman will be making the announcement, and revealing what the new Framework is all about, at a meeting at the Marriott Hotel in Rancho Cordova, 15 miles east of down town Sacramento, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. The new Framework has been retooled for better business communications while also depicting the implementation linkages between the various Framework architectural artifacts. Also, Chris White, Vice President of Architecture Strategy and Implementation for Casewise Systems Inc., will be presenting, “Leadership and Action – Taking Enterprise Architecture from the Drawing Board to the Board Room…Because When You Can See More, You Can Do More.

There is no admission charge for the Zachman Framework announcement; however, registration will be first-come-first-serve. To register for this event contact Ms. Kathy Hall of Experis at email address Kathy.HallATexperis.com.

After this announcement of the new Zachman Framework™, there will be a mixer from 5:00 to 8:00 PM hosted by the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-SVC).

In addition, on August 24th, 25th and 26th John Zachman and John P. Zachman will be offering a brand new “education only” level of the Zachman Certified™ program (details at zachman.com). Upon successful passing of the Zachman® exam, attendees will receive the eZachman Certified™ designation and also receive education credit in the Zachman Certified™ – Enterprise Architect program. Coupled with becoming eZachman Certified, attendees will also receive additional certification in ICCP’s CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) program, just for passing the Zachman exam. On Monday, August 22nd there will be a charity golf event on: The Armed Services’ Alliance Program (ASAP) at which Mr. Zachman will speak.
