WESTON, MA—February 17, 2017— Regis, a leading Catholic university in Greater Boston, has launched a long-term information technology strategy with the help of Systems Flow, Inc., a minority, woman-owned consulting firm based in Rhinebeck, NY, which specializes in IT & business architecture.
Systems Flow was asked to develop a technology plan in support of the university’s Strategic Plan. Over the course of six months, Ben Sommer, Systems Flow principal consultant, collaborated with many university constituents to discover, analyze and research all IT needs.
“What Systems Flow produced was a succinct and actionable set of recommendations that, when realized over the next 3 to 5 years, will ensure that technology is a valuable contributor to reaching our strategic goals,” said Kate Korzendorfer, Regis CIO.
Key areas that Regis will invest in are data intelligence and information management, student engagement through mobile technology, process automation, and lean IT process and governance.
“Many organizations fail to recognize that technology isn’t just an infrastructure cost, but is a critical enabler for achieving business goals,” said Dan Hughes, principal with Systems Flow. “It was a pleasure to partner with Regis’ forwarding looking administration and design a plan for technology that coincides with their Strategic Plan.”
