How do we assess strategy?

We often talk about strategy but, how do we know if strategy does what it should?

 

Strategy is taken, usually, as both what we are aiming for and how are we getting there.

 

What we are aiming for, i.e. the goals have to be assessed first for alignment to firm’s vision, what the competitors do and the trends, threats and opportunities that affect the environment. See this strategy development framework  Categories EA, EA, SOA and other technologies
