From Tom Graves / Tetradian

A couple of days back I did an online session at IASA‘s eSummit on business-architecture. It seemed to go pretty well – I’ve had a few good comments about it since then, which is always a good sign. :-)

The theme I chose to work with was to place business-architecture in context:

  • looking upward to the big-picture
  • looking downward to implementation
  • looking sideways to quality and values, and to coordination with others and with change
  • taking care to avoid getting pulled backwards into business-designs that really don’t work (though many people still think that they do…)

Hence the title for the session: Business-architecture: Upwards, Downwards, Sideways, Back.

If you want to take a look, the slidedeck is now up on Slideshare:

Share And Enjoy, perhaps? Hope you find it useful, anyway.
