In this presentation, Barb describes highlights from her book Data is Everybody’s Business, published by The MIT Press in September. The book, co-authored with Cynthia Beath and Leslie Owens, presents the fundamentals of data monetization and features insights from MIT CISR research and the MIT CISR Data Research Advisory Board. The presentation covers data monetization fundamentals within contemporary contexts such as generative AI and external data sharing.
