Surprisingly, simply going faster in business doesn’t differentiate much. In today’s digital world, top performers are both faster to market and better at innovating to generate new revenue because they have the necessary technologies and mechanisms. In this presentation, Peter describes four organizational drivers identified in MIT CISR research that support both speed and innovation—and then discusses how, when done right, these drivers can contribute to top performance. He will illustrate the research with a case study of Mercedes-Benz. This research was done in collaboration with Jan Brecht, Global CIO of Mercedes-Benz, and is based on a 2022 survey of 721 companies.
