From Thinking Enterprise
Whilst I spent most of my working hours in Windows 7 and Outlook, I still return to my favourite operating system OpenBSD when I need to do serious technical work. It is simple, elegant, and secure.
Installing OpenBSD/i386 5.2 in VirtualBox under Windows 7. Installation takes less than four minutes.
First OpenBSD login prompt after installation and reboot. VM boot time is less than 30 seconds.
I asked OpenBSD to automatically start X11 xdm(1) upon system start. No prior X configuration was necessary.
The OpenBSD standard window manager, FVWM. It might not be pretty, but it is fast and functional for managing multiple terminal windows.
