Abstract:
In June 2023, Rob Alger, Senior Vice President of Health Plan Technology at Kaiser Permanente, talked with MIT CISR about Kaiser Permanente’s digitally enabled business transformation. He discussed implementing a system-wide digital foundation, building capabilities to become agile and scale digital, changing the funding model and the IT organization from project-to product orientation, and using the Value Dashboard to support this transformation.
