Abstract:
Surprisingly, going faster in business doesn’t differentiate much. In today’s digital world, top performers are both faster to market and better at innovating to generate new revenue because they have the necessary technologies and mechanisms. In this presentation, Peter shares the latest MIT CISR research that identifies four organizational drivers that support both speed and innovation—and then discuss how, when done right, they can contribute to top performance. He illustrates the research with a case study of Mercedes-Benz. This research was done in collaboration with Jan Brecht, Global CIO of Mercedes-Benz and is based on a 2022 survey of 721 companies.
