From ETC-Architect
When we are looking to accounting we find comparability as one the most important design principles. In other areas we usually use standards such as ISO to promote comparability. However an area where comparability is key, but where it is not really used is within business analysis and design. These areas however are however where comparability is needed most as you switch from one set of semantics to another.
Therefore it is important on every project that has more than one analyst, developer or architect to sync objects, words, phrases, symbols, etc. at the start and in regular intervals to check and text on comparability. Additionally if you working in a longterm agile environment many problems that show up on comparability are highlighted early so the comparability between and within semantic linguals should be run parallel to grooming exercises.
