This year marks a major milestone: 10 years since the launch of The Open Group Open Process Automation™ Forum (OPAF), officially formed on January 31, 2017.
From the very beginning, our vision was clear—transform the way process automation systems are designed, integrated, and sustained. We set out to replace the limitations of proprietary, closed systems with a vendor-neutral, modular, secure, and interoperable architecture. That vision became the Open Process Automation Standard, a standard of The Open Group – built by and for the global industrial automation community.
